PURPOSE:To secure the gearing relation between a regular pole and a ratchet when a rotary bracket is lifted to the away position, by burying a part of the gearing grooves of the ratchet and omitting a part of the gear of the pole near the away position. CONSTITUTION:A fixed bracket 2 at the car body side and a rotary bracket 4 with a ratchet 9 the brim are furnished. A pole 17 with a gear to engage with the ratchet 9 at one end, and a release bar 15 to control the gearing of the pole 17 and the ratchet 9 are furnished. Moreover, a memory lever 13 to memorize the gearing position of the pole 17 and the ratchet 9, and intermediate members 14 and 28 to protect the gearing of the memory bar 13 at the away position are arranged. As well as furnishing a portion to bury gearing grooves at the gear of the ratchet 9, a portion with no tooth is furnished at the gear of the pole 17 near the away position. Therefore, it is prevented to gear the pole 17 with the ratchet 9 near the away position. |
