PURPOSE:To execute smooth and uniform corrosion resistant resin coating by forming an oxide film of iron on the surface of a sintered body consisting of a ferrous metal, then coating a specifically composed resin soln. thereon. CONSTITUTION:The sintered Fe metallic body having about 6.0-7.2g/cm<3> sintered density as a magnetic part is put into a steaming furnace and is subjected to a steaming treatment for 0.5-1.5hr at 550-650 deg.C to uniformly form the oxide of Fe on the surface of the sintered body. The surface of the sintered body is roughened by the oxide of Fe and the may holes possessed by the sintered body are closed by the oxide. The resin soln. consisting of an oil-modified aminoalkyd varnish, graphite, metallic oxide and solvent is coated thereon by a dipping method, spraying method, etc. The sintered body is put into a drying furnace and is subjected to a baking treatment for 30-120min at 100-200 deg.C. The resin film having the smooth and uniform surface and the excellent corrosion resistance is thus formed.
