PURPOSE:To read original correct codes in response to a screen information read command from a host computer, by displaying a blank of the display position of an optionally generated character code. CONSTITUTION:When receiving the screen information read command from a host computer, a controller 1 checks a discrimination a code in a refresh memory 2. When the code is not set, the code is regarded as a CG code and replaced by an information replacement code corresponding to the CG code, and the code is sent to the host computer. When the discrimination code is set, it is judged that the information replacement code itself is stored and the code is transferred as it is without conversion. On the other hand, the contents of the refresh memory are read out for the purpose of display and supplied to a display part 6 through a character pattern generator 5 and in this case, the enable/disable signal 4 of a video circuit is driven to display a blank. |
