PURPOSE:To eliminate a coating solution reservoir and to stably coat the solution by supplying the solution between a blade pressed at the body on the surface of a printing cylinder and the cylinder and removing by a doctor the excess solution from the surface of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A blade B0 which is mounted on a blade holder 11 is approached through a slide plate 20 to the peripheral surface of a printing cylinder 2 by the rotation of a pinion 22 which is driven by a hydraulic motor or the like, the relative position is adjusted by a regulating screw 13, and an ink pan 15 is raised to the prescribed position. Then, the ink is supplied through a hose 17 onto the blade B0, the cylinder 2 is rotated, a supporting plate 10 is rotated by an air cylinder 26 around a shaft 19, thereby urging the blade B0 under the prescribed pressure onto the surface of the cylinder, and ink is sufficiently supplied into a cell. Excess ink on the surface of the cylinder is scraped by a doctor blade 7 and recovered by the ink pan 15. Accordingly, it is not necessary to always store the ink in the pan, thereby rapidly facilitating the work at the print switching time. |
