PURPOSE:To improve reliability providing a neutral state wherein none of input/ output bus is connected in a switching module for the bus and connecting an input/output bus to a peripheral equipment only when connection signal for input or output from a computer is received. CONSTITUTION:In the bus switching module 1 for connecting the peripheral equipment 2 to input/output buses 51 and 52, the neutral state wherein the equipment is connected to either input/output bus is provided; the neutral state is held normally and only when the connection signal for input or output from computers 31 or 32 is received, the periperal equipment 2 is connected to the input/output bus 51 or 52. Therefore, the stopping of the system due to malfunction of the peripheral equipment 2 is prevent to improve the reliability of a multiple computer system. |
