PURPOSE:To directly convert an optical fiber cable to a separate optical fiber cord, etc., by making an optical fiber branching from the optical fiber calbe pass through a reinforcing cord, and holding it. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber cable 14 is fixed to a hole 15a of a converting case 15 by a fixing tool 16, and an optical fiber 17 is made to branch. Subsequently, a fixing tool 19 is provided by inserting it through a hole 20, a reinforcing cord 18 is inserted through said tool, and also the optical fiber 17 is inserted through a hole of the reinforcing cord 18 and is fixed. After that, the cord fixing tool 19 is fixed to the hole 20 of the optical fiber converting case 15. At the point of time when this work is completed, the optical fiber converting case 15 is covered with a cover plate 21 and is enclosed. |
