PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic characteristics of a transformer and reduce noise and make it possible to construct it by robot or an automatic assembling device by forming concave and convex sections in opposing faces of a block of stacked steel plates of different sizes and inserting two blocks of stacked steel plates into a coil so as to make the concave and convex sections mate together. CONSTITUTION:A block 1 of stacked iron cores that is shaped an E shape and a block 2 of stacked iron cores that is shaped an I shape are inserted in a coil in such a fashion that the main iron core section of the block 1 has the coil over it, and next the convex and concave mating section 2a of the block 2 is struck into the convex and concave section 1a of the block 1 to form one body of stacked iron plates. Since the mating of the sections 1a and 2a is not one body because I shaped plates Y and Y' of the I shaped stacked iron plates block 2 are bound by a paper tape only, the I shaped plate Y can be inserted into the concave section of the block 2 without obstruction. The stacked iron core plates after the mating process and the coil can be transported as one body, making the assembly simple, and due to lapping of a plate X of the E shaped block and a plate Y of I shaped block, leaking magnetic fluxes decrease and noise will not develop. |
