PURPOSE:To manage a library with one file, by storing data definitions for on- job and test in the library for production. CONSTITUTION:A single library 3 for production is generated on a basis of definition 1 for production of a data file, which is described in a data definition language DDL or the like, and definition 2 for test which indicates change parts of definition 1, and members A for production and members TA for test are managed as independent members in the library for production. An application program requests the use of members A for production at a test time. In this case, test environments are set to a discriminating part 5 preliminarily at a test start time by a job control language JCL, and the management is performed in the library for production to deal with a correspondence table so that members TA for test are called for the reference request of members A for production. |
