The cardboard box has a bottom which can be closed by four folding overlapping flaps (11,12), the pairs of flaps being termed either lower or upper flaps. A plate (14) is provided having supporting feet (13) which are passed through holes (16) in the two flaps forming the lower flaps. When the feet are passed through the holes, the plate engages the upper sides of the lower flaps and the upper flaps are shut down over the plate. The plate is thus sandwiched between the upper and lower flaps, while the feet provide the box with a pallet bottom. |
