Light for pedestrian crossing - includes single sphere housing down light and flashing warning beacon lights

The light includes a sphere of diameter 680mm, with a reflector and low pressure sodium vapour lamp (55 watt) in the lower part to illuminate a pedestrian crossing. On two opposite sides of the sphere, there are triangular illuminated signs. These may be arranged to flash, and display a figurine of a pedestrian. The lamp is mounted on the long arm of a lamp post, so that it is suspended above the road in full view of motorists coming from both directions.
