The four stroke rotary i.c.-engine, has the variation in volume of the combustion chambers (a-c) produced by eccentricity between the stator (10) and rotor (11). The combustion chambers are partially defined by radial vanes sliding freely in the rotor. The vanes are maintained with a small degree of free lay between the internal surface of the stator by rollers (73, 74) integral with the lateral sides of the vanes. The rollers ride on guide tracks (75) concentric with the stator. There can be inlet and outlet valves mounted in the cylindrical surface of the stator.
|
