PURPOSE:To dispense with an exclusive filter for a liquid tank and make the tank compact, by connecting the air supply port of the tank to a point downstream to a filter fitted in an air cleaner connected to the intake port of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A tank 2, in which liquid 1 is stored, is provided with a liquid outlet port 3 and a liquid inlet port 4 and with an air supply and exhaust port 9 in the top. An air cleaner 12 is coupled through a carburetor 11a to one end of an intake manifold 11 connected at the other end to the intake port 10a of an engine 10. Air introduced into the air cleaner 12 through its inlet port 12a is purified by a filter 13 and then supplied to the combustion chamber of the engine 10. An air hole 14 is provided between the filter 13 and the carburetor 11 and connected to the port 9 of the tank 2 through a communication pipe 15 to supply air to the tank through the air cleaner 12. Therefore, a special filter only for the air supply is not needed. |
