PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate densitometer by measuring the concentration of a solution in terms of current level and indicating it direct in a digital or scale graduation utilizing the fact that the electric resistance decreases with dilution of alcohol, sugar and salt. CONSTITUTION:A platinum foil electrode (d) is emmersed in a solution (e) of alcohol, sugar and salt. In the same circuitry as that of a megger, the current level is measured with a meter (b) of 10-100MOMEGA for alcohol and with a meter (b) of 10kOMEGA for salt. A digital or scale graduation is set for the meter as determined beforehand from a current level based on a concentration precisely measured by a chemical method. Thus, a concentration measurement can be performed precisely and simply. |
