PURPOSE:To obtain hot water which is cheap, highly efficient and which has a comparatively high temperature by a method wherein a gas removing device capable of removing air bubbles mechanically by moving on the surface of a water film is provided. CONSTITUTION:A roller 2 has slides or wheels 5 guided by guide rails 4 and connected to an arm 7 stretched by a fulcrum 6. The fulcrum 6 is connected to a rope 12 which is given reciprocating motions by a driving wheel 8. These members move to crush the air bubbles as they press down a water passage with such a degree of force as is not detrimental to a thin plate member 1 due to their own weights or by means of a spring and collect gases in air vent passages 18 and 19 on the side of a heat receiving body, release them outside the heat receiving body from a gas vent port 16. As a result, the gases standing between the heat transfer surface and water or the air bubbles adhered to, or blocking, the water flow passage to generate a channeling of water are removed and a favorable and stabilized heat transfer condition is secured. |
