PURPOSE:To prevent water from entering into a car through a trough part, by providing a water flow prevention rib in a protruded state on a water removing lip and into the trough part in the vicinity of a front and rear corner parts of both ends of a horizontal part of the lower side of a weatherstrip. CONSTITUTION:A water flow prevention rib 9 is provided in a protruded state on a water removing lip 63 and into a trough part 65 in the vicinity of a corner part 66 of both ends of a horizontal part 67 of the lower side of a weatherstrip 6. This is molded by forming a concave part on a metallic molding die of a corner part 66. With this constitution, though rain water intruded into the trough part 65 by moving along a water removing lip 63 from the upper side part of a rear side window arrives at the horizontal parts 67 of the lower side through the corner part 66 as shown by a chain line arrow (c), it can not be intruded beyond the water flow prevention rib 9 by the rib 9 and is discharged out of a car along the water removing lip 63 as shown by an arrow (d). The rain water is prevented by doing so from intruding into the car. |
