PURPOSE:To allow a subscriber to receive personally permitted service through any telephone set, by transmitting information peculiar to the subscriber to an exchange side from any telephone set. CONSTITUTION:The exchange 12 equipped with simple data terminals has storage devices 14a, 14b, and 14c having fixed part memory areas for storing information characteristics to each telephone set and variable part memory areas for storing information characteristic to each subscriber; information sent from a portable external storage medium 13 such as a magnetic card through a simple data terminal is written in the variable part memory areas and on the basis of the information, a controller 15 controls a connection of special service permitted to each subscriber. |
