NEW MATERIAL:A 3-acylamino-2-azetidinone derivative expressed by formulaI (R<1> is H; R<2> is heptanoyl, benzoyl or mandelyl; R<3> is H; or R<1>, R<2> and R<3> are respectively benzoyl). EXAMPLE:2-D- 3-L- 2-D,L- 4-D-(3-Amino-3-carboxypropoxy)phenyl -2-benzoylaminoacetamide -2-oxo-1-azetidinyl -2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetic acid. USE:A remedy for infections diseases effective for the infectious diseases caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and molds. PROCESS:A compound expressed by formula II (R<1>a is a protecting group of the amino group) is acylated to give a compound expressed by formula III, which is then catalytically reduced to afford the aimed compound expressed by formulaIin which R<2> is R<2>' (R<2>' is heptanoyl, benzoyl or mandelyl). |
