PURPOSE:To enable to carry out operations of a two and four wheel drive change-over gear mechanism and a high and low speed change-over gear mechannism, by applying one control lever for the operations, in the titl operating device of a four wheel drive car. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is turned into four wheel drive running by sliding a two and four wheel drive change-over forked rod 150 in an arrow (G) direction, moving a change-over fork 147 in the same direction, and connecting a transmission gear with a gear by a coupling sleeve of a two and four wheel drive change-over gear mechanism, while a control lever is being turned at predetermined number of times at every fixed angle in the same direction. Sliding of a high and low speed change-over forked rod 151, in this instance, is restricted by a bracket 141. Then, when the lever is turned by a predetermined angle further in the same direction, the high and low speeds change-over forked rod 151 is slided in the reverse direction of the arrow (G) through a reversing device (inner lever) 152, a spline is connected with a low gear of a high and low speed change-over mechanism through the coupling sleeve, and driving torque of a vehicle can be increased by keeping the four wheel drive as it is. |
