The invention relates to a device for aligning syringe cylinders, in particular in front of a stamping press. According to the invention, a conveying rail made as a turning rail (85) is provided which encloses the respective gripping plate (10) of a row of syringe cylinders (2) conveyed thereby and from which the remaining syringe body (12, 6) freely protrudes in each case. If the syringe cylinders each have an eccentric nozzle at their end, it is preferable for the conveying rail provided with the turning rail (85) to be connected to the outlet of a sorting feeder, preferably a sorting vessel, whose sorting device dispenses the syringe cylinders (2) with the predetermined angular orientation of the nozzle (6).
