PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of cracks in the surface of a dam by a method in which plural trenches are provided at given intervals on the surface of the dam, and concrete between facing trenches is removed in such a way as to avoid the occurrence of impaction to the surface of the dam. CONSTITUTION:In the inside of a cutter slide truck (not illustrated) housed in a truck body 4, a trench cutter A having plural concrete cutters 11 and 12 and an oil-pressure cylinder 14 and a drill B having plural chisels 13, an oil-pressure cylinder 16, and a driving angle regulator C are set. Trenches of a given depth are formed on the surface 1 of a dam by means of the cutters 11 and 12, the cutters 11 and 12 are pulled up from the surface 1, the chisels 13 are positioned in the intermediate concrete portion between the trenches 20 and also set at a given driving angle by the driving angle regulator C, and the intermediate concrete part between the trenches 20 is cut and removed by driving the chisels 13 into a given depth by means of the oil-pressure cylinder 16. By this way, the application of impaction to the surface 1 of the dam can be avoided. |
