摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a molten metal of alloy having high content of Cr in high yield of Cr by dividing raw materials contg. oxides of Fe, Cr, Ni to two groups by varying contents of Cr, charging the same together with carbonaceous materials and subjecting the same to heating, melting and reduction in suitable order. CONSTITUTION:>=2 Kinds of raw materials contg. >=1 kind among oxides of Fe, Cr, and Ni are used as raw materials. While the raw materials are charged together with carbonaceous materials into a reaction vessel, an oxidizing agent is supplied thereto to generate heat in the raw materials, thereby heating, melting and reducing the raw materials. The charged raw materials in this stage are divided to two groups by value A = content of Cr/(content of Fe + content of Ni). The content of Cr in molten metal is increased gradually by charging the raw materials of the high value A into the molten metal. Part of the high Cr melt is drawn out from the reaction vessel except the slag which is allowed to remain therein. While the content of Cr in the molten metal is decreased by charging the raw materials of the low value A, the reduction of the Cr in the slag is progressed. The slag contg. the Cr in a decreased rate is discharged from the reaction vessel except the molten metal which is allowed to remain therein.
