Tube holder grid for shell-and-tube heat exchangers, steam generators and the like, which consists of an external grid frame and rods mounted thereon which form four-cornered tube-holding sections in the form of rectangles or rhombuses. The rods are stripped into at least two rod grids (13, 14), which are located at an axial distance from one another and have tube holding sections in the form of rectangles or rhombuses, and are formed from toothed sheet metal strips which are identical to one another. The crossing points of the one rod grid (13) are arranged offset with respect to the crossing points of the other rod grid (14) in such a way that a tube holder grid which is suitable for tubes of different size is formed from rod grids which are offset with respect to one another. <IMAGE>
