An automatic duck-feeding device suitable to be erected in ponds or similar bodies of water consists of a frustoconical feed container (1) having a lid (2) which is attached to an axially arranged guide pipe (3). Below the feed container, a float (4) with a feed trough (5) is attached to the guide pipe, in a manner such that an annular gap (6) for the emergence of the feed (7) remains open between the lower edge of the feed container, which is open at the bottom, and the feed trough. The whole device is pushed, by means of the guide pipe, onto a guide rod (8) which is anchored on the bed of the body of water by means of a weight (9) or the like. Irrespective of changes in the level of the water in the body of water, the feed trough (5) always remains at the same height relative to the water level (10). <IMAGE>
