<p>In an installation for supplying with coal pounding machines of a coking plant, at least one main belt conveyor (1) is guided along the rail path (2) leading to one or a plurality of pounding machines (3). To each of these machines (3) an exchange point (5) is associated, for example a sledge, which may be displaced with them in the transfer direction of the main belt conveyor (1). The exchange point takes the coal from the main belt conveyor (1) and loads it on a transport installation proper to said machine. Thereby, the pounding machine (3) may be supplied with coal continuously and independently from the location or position where it is. The down time periods which where heretofore caused by such coal supply are eliminated.</p> |
