<p>PURPOSE:To improve comfort, by so constituting that an effective area for a first unit air conditioner is varied according to existence of passengers within an effective area for a second unit air conditioner when the second unit is under a nonactuating state, in a motor car air conditioner provided with two air conditioning units. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 12 is operated by information from an input apparatus and a front air conditioning switch 5. It decides whether or not aonctuation instructions are applied by rear cooler switches 8A and 8B and decides or off of seat switches 6 and 7. When the switches 8A and 8B are under noninstructing state and the seat switches 6 and 7 are off, air-conditioned air is blown off to blow-off openings 2A-2D for a front seat by controlling alteration actuators 16 and 17 by the microcomputer 12. When a rear air conditioner is not operated, switches 8A and 8B are not applied and passenger are in a rear seat, air deflectors 2a-2d are made to swing periodically by the alteration actuators 16 and 17, air-conditioned air is made to blow off from blow-off openings 3A-3D for the rear seat. Comfort is improved like this.</p> |
