<p>PURPOSE:To provide a surface illuminant emitting by supplying from outside either diketone or peroxide not previously added to the compsn., by printing onto a substrate a coating compsn. contg. a phosphor, an emission accelerator, and either particular diketone or peroxide. CONSTITUTION:A coating compsn. contg. a phosphor (e.g., 9,10-diphenylanthracene), an emission accelerator (e.g., a combination of an org. base and an emission controlling agent), and either peroxide or diketone of formulaIor II (wherein X is -OR, formula III, formula IV; R, R' are alkyl, allyl, ethylene oxide polymer, propylene oxide polymer) e.g., bis(2,4,6-trichorophenyl)oxalete is prepd. By printing said coating compsn. onto a substrate, a surface illuminant is yielded. In using the above surface illuminant, either diketone or peroxide not previously added to the compsn. is given from outside for emission.</p> |
