Shank-type cutter for milling machines which serves for cutting out holes and has even-numbered lip division. Its milling section is adjoined by a drilling tip, on which two mutually diametrical lip ends are each provided with a drilling edge, which run obliquely upwards from the milling section and, as they proceed further, together form a short transverse drilling edge.
