The invention relates to a coupling ring for a tip lorry, which is attached by a fork head on a connecting plate to a swivel bar of a dumping body and is stroked during suspension via a headplate of a connecting bolt fixed to a container; said plate is characterised by a resiliently prestressed, U-shaped securing flap whose leg has coupling rings for a hinge pin which penetrates the fork head, and whose flange is supported on a coupling ring leg whilst the flap leg ends are located in the shadow of the other coupling ring legs.
