PURPOSE:To obtain a composite magnetic material with high saturation magnetic flux density, high electric resistance and superior magnetic characteristics in a high frequency range by mixing powder of a magnetic oxide material with powder of an Fe-Ni alloy as a metallic magnetic material and by molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Powder of a magnetic oxide material such as ferrite is mixed with an adequate amount of powder of an Fe-Ni alloy as a metallic magnetic material, and the mixture is molded and optionally calcined to obtain the desired composite magnetic material. For example, the Fe-Ni alloy consists of 82wt% Fe and 18wt% Ni, and powder of the alloy having 1.5-2.5mum average particle size is used. The magnetic oxide material is ferrite consisting of 15mol% MgO, 35mol% ZnO and 52.5mol% Fe2O3, and powder of the ferrite having 1.5mum average particle size is used. |
