PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a carburetor particularly, to make the cost profitable, to improve an effective utilization rate, to economize energy and to reduce cost by arbitrarily regulating the orifice of the discharge section of a burner in response to the quantity of combustion, atomizing LPG at above a vaporization pressure at all times and preventing vaporization in the burner. CONSTITUTION:LPG supplied from a connecting port 1 is forwarded to a variable orifice section A through a clearance 5 between a stem 3 penetrating the center of a housing 2 and an inner pipe 4. The variable orifice section A has a non-return needle valve, and is constituted by a piston orifice fixed at the nose of the stem 3 and a fixed cylinder nozzle 8 surrounding the outer circumference of the piston orifice. When the stem 3 is moved in the axial direction, a discharge area changes. That is, the most pointed end of the cylinder nozzle 8 is a minimum section of a pass area in an LPG gas path because the pass area is narrowed with the forward progress of the nose of the piston orifice 7, and LPG is ejected into a furnace from the section. LPG ejected is atomized rapidly due to a pressure drop by discharge into auxiliary air or atmospheric air, and burnt by mixing with secondary air. |
