<p>A solid polymeric electrolyte consisting at least in part of a solid solution of a closoborane of an alkali metal in a polymer or copolymer including heteroatoms capable of forming donor-acceptor type bonds with the cation of said closoborane. The invention also relates to batteries in which said electrolyte is associated with a negative electrode comprising an electrode material capable of supplying the same cation at its interface with the electrolyte and with a positive electrode forming a sink at a lower chemical potential for the non-ionized species corresponding to said alkali cation.</p> |
