If the drive (engine) is idling, the centrifugal tappets (10) are not yet in operation, i.e. they are not yet thrown outwards (see Fig. 3, item 4). Only when the speed of the engine increases do the compression springs (9) relax and can the centrifugal tappets (10) slide outwards. The inertia of the rotation of the centrifugal wheels (7) sets in. The internal gear (output) begins to rotate. As the speed of the engine increases, the device becomes an infinitely variable transmission. The device can be installed in a transmission housing which also contains a reverse gear. <IMAGE>
