The outside of the tank has welded to it a base plate 8 carrying all controls and connections, a cover plate 16 is attached to the base plate 8 in the same plane which cover plate extends from the outlet valve 11 at that side by at least the length of the pressure regulator 17 and its screw-connector 19 and is provided with outwardly ringed lateral walls 21, 22 which project outwards beyond all controls 9-14 and 7 and connections. The lower portion of the cover plate 16 is preferably angled outwards to form a bottom panel 25. The angled lateral walls 21, 22 may be of approximately semi-circular construction. The lateral wall 21 at the side of the outlet valve 11 may have therein a wide slot 23 into which the supply tube 20 from the pressure regulator 17 is inserted and through which it passes, said slot being disposed preferably obliquely upwards. The extremity of the wide slot 23 is preferably in alignment with the connector 12 of the outlet valve 11. A curved lid 27 is preferably pivotally mounted by means of pins 26 on the lateral walls 21, 22, so that it pivots about the centre thereof. <IMAGE> |
