PURPOSE:To execute easily inside face polishing and plating, and also to easily execute an operation as a manipulator, by constituting a waveguide by connecting a number of short pipes of a truncated circular cone shape through a rubber ring. CONSTITUTION:Truncated circular cone pipes 1, 1'- are made a unit and are hook-joined successively, and are made flexible by fitting a rubber ring 4 between a projecting part 2 and 3 of each pipe. Its outside is covered with a silicone tube 3, and its outside is covered with an armored tube 6, by which a waveguide is formed. Each pipe 1, 1'- is comparatively short, therefore, the inside face polishing and plating are executed easily, accurately and exactly, the propagation efficiency of laser light, etc. is high, and in case when this waveguide is used for a manipulator for a laser surgical knife, the operation is executed easily since it is flexible. |
