PURPOSE:To convert continuous oscillation leser light to pulse light, and to modulate a distribution of output density to a distribution suitable for laser working, by constituting an apparatus so that an aperture of a laser beam is opened and closed repeatedly. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary shaft 35A rotates by rotation of a driving device 45, each rotaty shaft 35A-35D rotates through an endless belt, and rotating bodies 53A, 53D fitted to these shafts rotate. These rotating bodies are overlapped onto each other on a laser beam in a space part 13 between conduits 27, 33 of a laser beam LB. On each disk-like rotating body 53A-53D, plural transmission lights 55A-55D are provided at equal intervals, and they are overlapped onto each other in an optical path of the laser beam LB or are shifted from the optical path, by which the laser beam is transmitted or cut off and is converted to pulse light. By a contactless switch 57, rotational frequency of the rotating body 53B is detected, and a driving device 45 is controlled by a control device, by which output density is modulated to a distribution suitable for working. |
