<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the protruding corner parts of a glass layer from causing the short circuit and disconnection of a wiring provided thereon, by a method wherein glass paste is applied to be printed on a substrate in such a manner that it is applied in several layers of which the upper one is wider than the lower, and these layers are baked thereafter. CONSTITUTION:A heat-accumulating glass layer 2, which is provided between a substrate and a heating resistor 4 in a thermal printer, is formed in several layers 2-1-2-3, of which the lower one is smaller in width than the upper. First, glass paste is applied to be printed in width W1 on a substrate to form a first layer 2-1, and then it is applied thereon in larger width W2 than the above to form a second layer 2-2. Moreover, it is applied in larger width W3 than the width W2 to form a third layer 2-3, and then these layers are baked to be made into the heat-accumulating glass layer 2. Thereafter a conductor wiring 3, the heating resistor 4 and an abrasion-resisting glass layer 5 are formed thereon, and thereby the thermal printer is completed.</p> |
