PURPOSE:To reduce acceleration of the piston of a hydraulic damper on a spring by making a damping force variable according to an input of variation in a speed and a stroke of the piston thereof. CONSTITUTION:A piston 3 has a low speed passage 8 and a high speed passage 9 therein and a valve 5 having a low speed orifice 6 and a high speed orifice 7 which open above them, respectively, is mounted on the oil passage of the piston 3. Under the piston 3, a slide valve 10 is disposed at the exit of the high speed oil passage 9. A nut 13 which is reamed at the lower side for putting a valve seat 16 and a check valve 18 therein is screwed around the tip of a piston rod 1. A plunger 12 having an L-shape section is slidably engaged on the periphery of the nut 13 and a spring 11 of the slide valve 10 is supported on the upper face of the collar thereof so as to make a clearance C communicated to the oil passage. A hollow chamber A of the piston rod 1 is divided by a partition member 22 which is energized downward. |
