PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device that enables uniform, sure and efficient welding in the narrow hole of a work, by making a welding torch attached to a main pillar freely rotatable against the connected part of a work and movable vertically. CONSTITUTION:A jig 12 having a large gear 11 pivoted in the lower part of a main pillar 9 provided with a rodlike suspending member 2 is brought into contact with the valve seat IIb of a work to be welded to a turbine regulator valve body II. A pinion 19 that engages with above-mentioned large gear 11 is provided in a body with a driving shaft 8 to rotate around the main pillar 9. A holding member 15 that holds a welding torch 23 is provided in the middle part of the main pillar, and the torch part 23a is adjusted exactly to the connected part of the valve body II and valve seat IIb by adjusting the position of the welding torch 23 in radial direction and vertical direction through a horizontal operating rod and a vertical operating rod. Under condition, a pinion 14 is rotated by driving motor 7, and current is applied to perform welding suppressing oscillation of the main pillar by a steady rest 27, and feeding a welding wire 6a. |
