PURPOSE:To improve dehydration efficiency by providing planetary rollers circumscribing a sun roller and operating a dehydrator while giving a difference between the rotating speed of the planetary rollers and the traveling speed of a filter cloth belt. CONSTITUTION:The sun roller 13 and the plural planetary rollers 14 circumscribing thereto are provided. The shaft of the roller 13 is rotatably supported to a frame 16. Both the rollers 13, 14 are freely rotatably supported by a circular supporting member 17. Sludge 1 is grasped between the filter cloth belts 3 and 4 and is dehydrated under the pressurization. The sludge 1 is then sheared and dehydrated on the outside of the rollers 14 in a shearing and dehydrating part S. The operation with the revolving speed v1 of the roller 14 different from the traveling speed v2 of the belts 3, 4 is executed when the supporting member 17 is rotated during this time.
