PURPOSE:To realize the titled control system enabling script printing by a simple controlling means wherein a line of characters to be subjected to the script printing is made to be an input information by attaching marks instructing the script printing to both ends of the line and a platen is controlled to rotate in response to said marks. CONSTITUTION:When receiving an input information (a) for instructing script, a flip-flop F/F inverts an output logic value. On the inversion of F/F, a script controlling device C4 controls a platen to rotate in a half line in the normal or reverss direction. In the period when a control signal is supplied from the script controlling device C4 to a platen mechanism PT, a signal of logic value 0 is supplied to each of AND gates A1-A3 from the device C4 in synchronization with the control signal, while in the other period, a signal of logic value 1 is supplied to the AND gates A1-A3 from the device C4. |
