PURPOSE:To reduce optical fatigue due to a physical property variation of a photoreceptor by manufacturing an amorphous compound photoreceptor containing As to immers it in a fluorocarbon compound, or slide-rub the surface with cloth, etc. in addition to the immersion. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer of Se-As which contains 35-40wt% As and is in an amorphous state is formed on a conductive base body, and before a phtoreceptor manufacture in this way is incorporated in a device, it is immersed in a fluorocarbon compound, or the surface of the photoreceptor is slide- rubbed with hemp cloth, etc. in addition to the immerision into the fluorocarbon compound. In this way, optical fatigue due to a physical property variation of the photoreceptor is reduced, and a permanent photoreceptor can be obtained. |
