PURPOSE:To provide a unit capable of always carrying out a fine adjustment accurately and smoothly without using an eccentric gear and a pinion for supporting a bottom roll. CONSTITUTION:A bearing box 7 for a bearing on the axial end of a work roll 1 is guided vertically and movably along a frame 4 and a driven member 9 of a swash plate cam is integrated with on the bottom surface of said bearing box 7. A prime driving member 10 of the swash plate cam engaged with said driven member 9 is guided horizontally and sidably along the frame 4 and a driving device which allows the prime driving member 10 to slide horizontally is mounted on the frame 4. |
