PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for editing tapes with a master VTR and slave VTR, by positioning tapes at a pre-roll point nearer to a previously determined cut-out point, then, previewing the tapes. CONSTITUTION:When confirming the connecting part of cut out tapes only, a cut-out button 5e and preview button 5h are simultaneously operated. An original tape and master tape 1 are positioned at each pre-roll point of a slave VTR3 and master VTR4, respectively. The VTRs 3 and 4 are set to the reproducing condition and the reproduced video signal 2a of the slave VTR3 is supplied to a monitor 7 and reproduced pictures are obtained. At a cut-out point, the traveling contact 6a of a switch 6 is switched by a control signal from a central controller 5 and connected to a fixed contact 6M at the other side. The reproduced video signal 1b of the master VTR4 is supplied to the monitor 7 and a reproduced picture is obtained, and thus, the confirmation of the cut-out part is performed. |
