PURPOSE:To produce a tee pipe joint easily in a large amt. in the stage of producing the tee pipe joint with two pipe material, by inserting insertion jigs into a straight pipe having a hole for insertion of a branch pipe, inserting the brach pipe fitted with an outside guide into said hole in the straight pipe and forcing the pipe strongly. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of producing a tee pipe joint consisting of a straight pipe 2 and a branch pipe 1, a hole 3 into which the end part of the pipe 1 can be inserted is pierced beforehand on the outside surface of the pipe 2. Insertion jigs 4 provided with guide grooves 4a are inserted into the pipe 2 from both ends and are so positioned that the grooves 4a come right under the hole 3. An outside guide 5 is fitted onto the pipe 1, and the branch pipe is inserted into the hole 3 while the forward end 5a of said guide has a margin as much as to allow the formation of a pleat 6. The guide 5 is pressed to flare the forward end of the pipe 1 like a funnel 7 along the guide grooves 4a of the jigs 4 and to form the pleat 6. The branch pipe is adhered together with the funnel-like flared part 7 to the straight pipe 2, whereby the tee joint is formed easily. |
