PURPOSE:To provide the titled belt which has an accurately-sized tooth form and a tooth or a concavity at an accurate position, by a method wherein, with an upper and a lower cover slided over a tapered surface provided on an outer periphery of a split outer mold, an uniform edgewise pressure is applied to each split outer mold. CONSTITUTION:An upper cover 27 and a lower cover 28 are inserted into a stay 9 to temporarily fasten them by means of nuts 29 and 29', and the covers are firmly adhered to a tapered surface 25 of a split outer mold to support them thereat. If the upper cover 27 and the lower cover 28 are pressurized, the covers 27 and 28 move downward and upward, respectively, to provide a uniform edgewise pressure to each split outer mold 23. Each split outer mold 23, on which the edgewise pressure is exerted, moves to the vicinity of an inner mold 6 to pressurize a molded belt.
