<p>PURPOSE:To have a tank shell in simple consturction and lightweight by installing a top support, divided to the upper and lower parts, upright on the center of the tank in its inside and by supporting the top therewith. CONSTITUTION:The top 6 of a shell 1 is supported and the shell 1 is prevented from sinking further when the upper member 7 of a top support, which has been in its heaved position, comes down to seat on the lower member 8 of the top support. A flange 9 is provided at the butted part of these upper and lower top supports 7, 8 so that stable supporting of the shell 1 is obtained even when the upper top support 7 has moved to the right or left. Thus the construction of a tank shell can be simplified as well as the weight of shell made lighter.</p> |
