PURPOSE:To make maintenance inspection of a generator easy, by a method wherein the generator is elevated by a jack and turned and then a rotor is pulled out. CONSTITUTION:Connecting portions between a rotation shaft of a generator 1 and both turbines 2, 3 are disassembled, and the generator 1 is elevated by a jack so that the connecting portion of the rotation shaft of the generator 1 is disposed above the connecting portion of both turbines 2, 3. A direction turning device 5 is installed under the elevated generator 1, and axial position of the generator 1 is changed by the direction turning device 5 and then a rotor 4 of the generator 1 is pulled. In this constitution, the rotor 4 can be pulled and disassembled in the generator separately without disassembling and removing either of the turbines 2, 3 at the pulling side, thereby the maintenance and inspection of the generator is facilitated. |
