PURPOSE:To know the characteristics of a displacement meter easily and exactly from the change in an output when a ground electrode and a metallic plate are conducted in disposing said metallic plate between the electrodes of the displacement meter. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate 4 is inserted between a displacement electrode 1 and a ground electrode 2. When a switch 5 is interrupted, the electrostatic capacity detected by a measuring circuit 3 changes between only the C1 and the combined capacity of C1, C2, C3. Since the combined capacity and the single capacity C1 are both known, the characteristics of the displacement meter are known by observing response characteristics with an oscilloscope. |
