An encapsulation box for mounting on a pole, for electrical outlets, switches, fuses or other electrical components, comprises a box body 10 of reinforced plastic with at least one open side that can be closed by a lid 11. In order to counter the risk of damage due to external mechanical action, the box body 10 is provided with an insert 13 with high bending rigidity, embedded in the reinforced plastic material, which is formed by an angle-bent rigid metal plate, which has a horizontal part 13A located in the lower wall of the box body 10 and at least one vertical part 13B located in an upright wall of the box body 10. The metal plate insert 13 is in order to eliminate the need for separate fastening of the electrical components provided with threaded hole 14, which is freely accessible from the inside of the box body 10 via recesses 15 arranged in the plastic layer located at the inside of the metal plate insert 13. <IMAGE> |
