PURPOSE:To secure the safety of customers and at the same time to reduce the capacity of a memory, by deciding the propriety of a transaction from the card reading information and the information obtained by an index of the card reading information and a direct operation input. CONSTITUTION:A personal identification data obtained from the data which is read by a magnetic card reader 1 is fed to a shift register 11. At the same time, the colum deciding data of a random number table 8 is fed to an X register 4 with a lower digit of the account No. When the 1st digit 7 is fed in the form of a secret No. of a customer that is supplied from an input device 2, the data is delivered to an output register 9 by an X decoder 5 and a Y decoder 7. With input of the 2nd digit, the decoder 5 is added with 1. Then the data is delivered to the register 9 by the decoders 5 and 7. Thereafter the data obtained in the same way is compared with the personal identification data to decide the identity of the user. |
